Description
FINESTER LAN-S is a 100% vegetable origin derived substitute for Lanolin. It is an oleo chemical ester of glycerine & fatty acid.
Suggested Uses
- It exhibits excellent adhesive properties on skin & wet surfaces when used in wound dressing formulations.
- Its water capacity is at least 150 % when compared to lanolin in skin creams & lotions.
- Exhibits good color, odour & thermal stability leading to more stable emulsions compared to those with lanolin.
- It has viscosity similar to that of natural lanolin in range of 25 – 60ºC.
